Celebrate industry leaders on Wednesday, February 14, in the Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom of Music City Center. Join us starting at 5 PM to honor the following leaders in the industry:

• Advocate of the Year
• Emerging Leader of the Year
• Retailer of the Year
• Affiliate of the Year

We’ll also announce Attendees’ Choice Awards winners in Hearth, Outdoor Living, and Barbecue (New, Separate Category) categories!

As the Awards Ceremony concludes, stay with us for the Hearts on Fire Industry Party from 6-8:30 PM, featuring local music, games, and plenty of good times.

The Ultimate Awards Show Categories

The Advocate of the Year award recognizes an individual who devotes their time, energy, and passion to advocating for the industry. This individual actively participates in legislative and regulatory issues in their region and affiliate as well as in HPBA activities and training. Overall, this advocate plays a crucial role in ensuring its continued success through advocacy, as well as inspiring others to take action throughout the year. 

The Emerging Leader of the Year award recognizes a newcomer to the industry who has been working in the field for 8 or fewer years. This individual has already made significant contributions to the industry and has demonstrated the potential for leadership and continued service. The nominee is actively improving the industry through their involvement and positive influence.

The Retailer of the Year award is given to an individual who has dedicated their time, passion, and energy to bettering the industry and their community. Nominees will be considered based on their contributions to the industry, HPBA, and affiliates. Overall, the Retailer of the Year award is in recognition of the nominee’s commitment to retail excellence, customer focus, and industry involvement.

The Affiliate of the Year award is the highest honor given to an HPBA Affiliate. This award is given to an affiliate that excels in outreach, advocacy, and industry support and recognizes an affiliate for their best practices and accomplishments in their local regions.
