The HPBExpo25 Education Program took place exclusively on the trade show floor and was free to attendees.
A robust free education program, hosted on the exhibit floor, offered valuable learning from industry leaders. The 2025 lineup included sessions and demonstrations in a new outdoor classroom. With 36 expert-led sessions designed to give attendees a competitive edge, attendees could dive deep into the issues and trends impacting our industry.

National Fireplace Institute Certification review courses are held each year HPBExpo. You can register for them ahead of time and take the exam at HPBExpo if you choose. When you are purchasing the review/exam, simply select HPBExpo as the “review location.” All reviews/exams must be purchased from the National Fireplace Institute website.
The National Fireplace Institute® (NFI) is the professional certification division of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation (HPBEF). NFI’s objective is to increase public safety by establishing meaningful credentials for professionals involved in planning and installing residential hearth appliances and venting systems.

Technical Track
Focus on the skills and knowledge essential for successfully servicing and 
troubleshooting industry products. Strengthen your understanding of appliance electronics, piping materials, and air management. Develop effective communication with customers and acquire hands-on servicing techniques. Stay up to date with industry safety standards and best practices to enhance your expertise and efficiency.
Manufacturer Training Sessions
Select industry manufacturers will have sessions to go over the sales, marketing, and 
technical information you need to know. Sessions will be listed on the HPBExpo website and the Show Mobile App.
Some training sessions may be limited to a specific manufacturer’s dealers only.
